Sealed, written and electronic formal bid proposals will be received by G.A. CARMICHAEL FAMILY HEALTH CENTER, at 1668 W Peace Street, Canton, Mississippi 39046 at 2:00 p.m. (Local Prevailing Time) on SEPTEMBER 19, 2024, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read aloud, for A Building Renovation Project for: G.A. Carmichael Family Health Center.

G.A. Carmichael Family Health Center reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities, also to withhold the acceptance of any bid if approved, for thirty calendar days from the date bids are opened.

All Contractors who intend to submit “BIDS” are encouraged to attend the MANDATORY PRE-BID CONFERENCE on TUESDAY, AUGUST 20, 2024, at 2:00 PM. Failure to attend the Pre-Bid Conference will result in rejection of submitted proposals. Pre-Bid Conference will be held at: 1547 Jerry Clower Blvd. N., Yazoo City, MS 39194 with a walk through to follow at the project site at: 1206 Grand Ave., Yazoo City, MS 39194.

All bids must be accompanied by bid security equal to five percent (5%) of the sum of the base bid and all alternates, and must be in the form of a certified check, cashier’s check or a Bid Bond written by a company licensed to do business in Mississippi. The successful bidder will be allowed 365 calendar days from the date of issuance of Notice to Proceed to complete the project. Liquidated damages will be assessed at $1,000.00 per day for each calendar day the work is not substantially complete.

The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance and a Payment Bond written by a company licensed to do business in Mississippi, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract amount.
