21-002.4 Restroom Upgrades and Improvements at Noxubee County School District (RE-BID) #15513

Sealed, written formal bid proposals will be received by NOXUBEE COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT, at 37 Gandy-Tindal Road, Macon, Mississippi 39341 at 2:00 PM. (Local Prevailing Time) on May 9, 2024, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read aloud, for RESTROOM UPGRADES AND IMPROVEMENTS AT NOXUBEE COUNTY SCHOOL  DISTRICT (REBID).

The Noxubee County School Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities, also to withhold the acceptance of any bid if approved, for forty-five calendar days from the date bids are opened.

Bid documents are being made available via  electronic  copy.  Official bid Documents can be  downloaded after registering for an account at www.m3aarchplans.com to view bid documents. All Contractors who intend to submit “BIDS” are ENCOURAGED to attend the NON-MANDATORY PRE-BID CONFERENCE, which will be held on April 24, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at Noxubee County School District Central Office at 37 Gandy-Tindal Road, Macon, Mississippi. Failure to attend the pre-bid conference will not result in rejection of submitted proposals.

All bids must be accompanied by bid security equal to five percent (5%) of the sum of the base bid and all alternates, and must be in the form of a certified check, cashier’s check or a Bid Bond written by a company licensed to do business in Mississippi.

The successful bidder will be allowed 180 calendar days from the date of issuance of Notice to Proceed to complete the project. Liquidated damages will be assessed at $500.00 per day for each calendar day the work is not substantially complete.

The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance and a Payment Bond written by a company licensed to do business in Mississippi, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract amount.
